Bridal Shower Table Decorating Ideas

Decorate a bridal shower table with delicate flowers.

Congratulate a bride-to-be on her upcoming wedding by hosting a bridal shower. Whether you are holding the shower in your home or in a rented space, give the party a customized look with eye-catching table decor. When creating the decor, consider the bride-to-be's favorite colors as well as the wedding theme.

Floral Touches

Flowers will give the celebration space a fresh look and a sweet fragrance. Decorate the table using the bride-to-be's favorite flowers or the type of blooms that will be featured in the wedding. For a romantic look, fill vintage milk glass or crystal vases with fresh pink and white roses. Place several small vases down the middle of the table or just use one large arrangement as a centerpiece. You could also create an exotic style by filling white ceramic vases with delicate cherry blossom branches. Attach realistic-looking bird or butterfly clips to a few of the branches.

Candles

Enhance the bridal shower table with candles that look decorative even when not lit. When they are lit, they'll cast a warm glow across the table. Flower-shaped floating candles in a clear bowl filled with water and colored glass gems that match the wedding colors is a nice table decoration. If the bridal shower or wedding has a wine theme, or if you know the bride is a wine lover, place taper candles in the tops of empty wine bottles and line them up down the center of the table.

Themed Decor

Decorate the bridal shower table to match the wedding theme as a meaningful touch. If the bride is a planning a beach-inspired reception, cover the table with a turquoise cloth. As a centerpiece, fill a tray with sand and nestle small glass votive holders into it. As another centerpiece option, fill a vase with tropical flowers such as orchids and Birds of Paradise. Place seashells and starfish around the candles. Serve wine or champagne in glasses featuring tropical fish, seahorse and seashell-shaped charms.

Cupcake Centerpieces

You can save time and money by creating bridal shower desserts that double as a table centerpiece. Make vanilla cupcakes and top them with fluffy white frosting. Insert a candy diamond ring into the center of each cupcake and display the baked goods on a tower. As another idea, place the cupcakes in lacy white paper cups and sprinkle pearl-inspired nonpareils on top of pastel-hued frosting. Cupcakes decorated with decadent pink icing roses also make ideal bridal shower treats.
