Disney Characters In The Magic Kingdom

Visiting the Magic Kingdom can be a magical and memorable experience for guests of all ages. For many guests, a visit to the Magic Kingdom Theme Park is not complete without the chance to meet their favorite Disney Characters. Disney makes dreams come true each day for their visitors by making Disney Characters accessible to meet and greet and for photo opportunities. Many different characters can be found in a variety of areas around the theme park.

Character Greetings

Disney lovers have the opportunity to meet many of their favorite Disney characters at designated character greeting areas throughout the Magic Kingdom. Visitors of all ages are invited to say hello to their favorite characters with handshakes and hugs. True fans can also take the opportunity at the greetings to get autographs and pose for photos with each of the Disney characters. Characters likely to be seen at character greetings include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Donald Duck, Daisy, Buzz Lightyear and Mary Poppins.

Character greeting spots include Toontown Hall of Fame, Adventureland Congoasis, City Hall at Town Square, Frontierland and Mickey's Toontown Fair. Times of character greetings change daily. Visitors should consult the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom when they arrive at the theme park to find out what time Disney characters will be making appearances at character greeting spots.

Judge's Tent

Though Mickey Mouse can be seen at the various character greeting areas throughout the park, the main mouse can most frequently be found at the Judge's Tent. Fans should plan a visit to the Judge's Tent, located behind Mickey's Country House, to secure the Mickey Mouse photo, autograph and hug before leaving the Magic Kingdom.

Fairies Meet and Greet

Fans of the Disney Fairies can meet their favorite Disney characters from "Tinker Bell" the movie at the Fairies Meet and Greet. Tinker Bell and her fairy friends including Fawn, Rosetta, Iridessa and Silvermist greet guests in Pixie Hollow. Guests who venture into Never Land will feel as though they are the size of the fairies in this oversized exhibit.

Ariel's Grotto

Visitors hoping to find Ariel and her undersea friends should head to Ariel's Grotto. This ocean-themed exhibit in Fantasyland provides young children with a soft play surface and flowing fountains to play on while meeting Ariel and her "Little Mermaid" friends.

Toontown Hall of Fame

Toontown Hall of Fame provides two indoor rooms where Magic Kingdom visitors can meet Disney Princesses and Fairies. Disney Princesses likely to be seen at the Toontown Hall of Fame include Cinderella, Aurora and Snow White. When the Disney Fairies aren't at the Fairies Meet and Greet, they may be found with the Princesses at the Toontown Hall of Fame. Daily appearance schedules are available from cast members working in the Toontown Hall of Fame.
