Loews Hotels has three properties in Orlando which are located at the Universal Orlando Resort. Special hotel room rates are available to Florida residents for most dates throughout the year and include Universal Express Ride Access. In order to receive the discount, Florida residents must reserve in advance and present a Florida driver's license at check in.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando
The Royal Pacific Resort is an island-themed hotel with a lagoon-style pool, water play area, children's activity center, croquet and volleyball courts, and several dining options including Emeril's Tchoup Chop and the Wantilan Luau. Room types include standard, water view, club level and suites, such as the two-room Jurassic Park Kid Suites. As of 2010, regular rates at the Royal Pacific Resort range from $219 to $334 a night for a standard room not including tax. Discounted Florida resident rates range from $134 a night in early fall to $189 around Thanksgiving.
