Barbie Makeover
Upon the arrival of guests, each little girl will be directed to certain beauty stations that you prepared prior to the start of the party. The beauty stations can consist of makeup, hair styling products, dress up clothes and glitter. Have a couple of friends or family members help you at each station. Once the girls are made over to look like Barbie, they will really get into the spirit.
Fashion Show
Now that the girl's are all dressed up like Barbie, conduct a fashion show with the audience members being the parents of the guests, family and friends. Introduce each girl to the audience while they individually walk into the room. Tell the audience each of the girl's favorite things to do, and have them sit in a special section of the room until all girls have been introduced.
Barbie Scavenger Hunt
Prepare your back or front yard by hiding plain colored Barbie clothing and accessories. Give each girl a Barbie and a list of items she needs to collect to complete her individual Barbie's look. After each girl has completed her Barbie's look, she will return it to you and wait for all of the girl's to finish their Barbie. After everyone has finished, go back inside to a table that you will have stocked with beads, jewels, gems, glitter and crystals. Let each of them decorate their Barbie dress the way they want to by using a hot glue gun, and gluing the items where they choose.
When planning your Barbie themed birthday party, make sure to send out invitations informing the guest and her parents what you are planning to do at the Barbie party. Invitations can be very creative and inexpensive and can be created on your home computer.
