You will visit streets that certain spirits do not want to vacate. You will take a walk where people report having seen the ghost of a wandering woman. Wear comfortable shoes so you can follow the path of ghostly encounters. Meet at the Queen Anne Hotel lobby at 7 p.m. even if it's raining. Join in the fun every evening but Tuesday. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 8.

Haunted Haight Walking Tour


Visit Haight Ashbury to discover its frightening past.


Haight Ashbury is famous for its role in producing the flower child generation of the 1960s. On the Haunted Haight Walking Tour, the phantoms of the area come to life. You will hear ghoulish stories of murderers, the heads of cults and neighborhood ghosts. Your tour guide is a seasoned member of the San Francisco Ghost Society, a group that investigates paranormal happenings in the area. Grab your jacket, because it is cool and foggy at night, and meet at Coffee to the People, 1206 Masonic Ave., at 7 p.m. You are welcome to bring a camera, but video is not allowed. This tour is wheelchair friendly and guaranteed to have no hills at all. Children under the age of 13 should not attend.
