Planning a Hawaiian cruise vacation has never been easier with the number of cruise lines available. As you plan your vacation, go online and search through the various cruise lines' websites where they list the prices of each trip, the type of accommodations and the itinerary for exploring the islands of Hawaii. Many of the cruise ships include excursions to Honolulu, Maui and Kauai where guests can tour the tropical regions and experience local customs.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
The Royal Caribbean has several cruise ships that sail to Hawaii, ranging from 11-night trips to 13-night trips. Ships depart either from Vancouver or Honolulu. 11-day cruises cost approximately $1,000 per person for an interior cabin and the deluxe suites cost approximately $3,000 per person. While on-board, guests of the Royal Caribbean can take advantage of the many amenities including a fitness center, day spa, sports court, country club with golf simulator, rock climbing wall, pools, casinos, themed bars and lounges, fine and casual dining and kids' activities.
On shore, guests will spend a day in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, where there is scuba diving in Kona's Reef or snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. Guests can also spend time hiking the Pololu Valley where the Kapoloa Falls reside. Two days in Maui follow, including both land and water activities as well as a luau. Guests will also spend a day in Kauai where they can kayak, ride four-wheelers and explore the beach, canyons and mountains. Honolulu is the final Hawaiian destination where guests can spend two days visiting the Pearl Harbor memorials, viewing the volcanoes, swimming, surfing and scuba diving, while taking in the local cuisine and customs.

Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Lines offers a 7-day, round-trip cruise to four of the Hawaiian islands. The cost of a cruise to Hawaii with Norwegian Cruise Line costs between $1,000 per person for an interior cabin to $2,200 for a suite. On board, guests will find a fitness center, sports court, bars and lounges, pools, hot tubs, Broadway-style and comedy shows, teen discos and kids' activities. There are also fine and casual dining options.
On shore, guests will spend two days in Maui taking in the sights of the Haleakala Crater, snorkeling at the Molokini Crater, spending time at the beach, playing a round of golf at area golf courses and visiting nearby plantations. Guests can also spend a day in Hilo taking in the sights, touring the Volcanoes National Park and taking a helicopter ride. Another day is spent in Kona where guests will spend the day at the beach and enjoy water sports activities like surfing, kayaking, deep-sea fishing and dolphin adventures. Guests will then spend another two days in Kauai where they can enjoy time at the canyon, rain forest and participate in a luau. The final day is spent in Honolulu where guests will tour the Pearl Harbor Memorial and Waikiki Beach.

Carinval Cruise Lines
Carnival Cruise Lines features several Hawaiian cruise options from 12-day to 15-day trips. The cost ranges from less than $1,000 per person for a 12-day trip departing Ensenada, Mexico, in an interior cabin to about $3,500 per person for a 15-day trip departing from Los Angeles, California, in a deluxe suite. On board, the ship features pools with water slides, whirlpools, miniature golf, dance clubs, bars, lounges, casinos, a spa, fitness center, youth programs and an Internet cafe. Dining options include fine dining, a sushi bar, 24-hour room service, and a pizzeria and steakhouse.
On shore, guests will spend a day in Hilo, a day in Kona, a day in Kauai, two days in Maui and two days in Honolulu. While visiting the islands, guests can take tours of the tropical forests of Hilo, explore Kona, play in the crystal-blue waters and visit the waterfalls of Kauai, lay on the beaches of Maui and tour the history of Pearl Harbor in Honolulu.
