Diy Water Bottle Labels

Water bottles can be a great tool to market a business. Everyone drinks water and they are often carried around and seen by the people near the drinker. Because of the popularity and widespread use of water bottles, placing a logo, business information or other promotional materials on a water bottle can provide widespread exposure. Making labels to place on water bottles is a fairly simply project that can produce high returns.

Design the Label

Determine what you want for the look of the the label. Be sure the bottles have enough information to achieve promotional goals, but be simple enough and displayed large enough to be quickly and easily digested. Consider providing limited information on the label itself while using the label to direct consumers to a Web site for more information.

Produce the Labels

With a design in mind, it's time to make the label. Use software specifically designed to make labels for water bottles or use a standard sized label. Use ink that withstands refrigeration and getting a little bit wet. Consider, too, how the bottles will be distributed. If they will be on ice, laminating labels makes them waterproof.

Attach the Labels

Once the labels are made, attach them to the water bottles. Either cover or remove the bottle's original label. Use enough glue to secure the label so it is seen by as many people as possible. Make sure, too, that the ink on the labels does not bleed if it become wet, as it could stain hands or clothing.
