Game Hints For "Nancy Drew Ghost Dogs Of Moon Lake"

Sometimes a few hints help to make a game more enjoyable.

"Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake" is a mystery, adventure game for the personal computer. Since it is a mystery game, it is easy to get stuck at times. It is nice to have some hints to help to know what to do next, so that all of the mystery can eventually be solved.

Taking Notes

Take notes of anything that seems important. Drawing maps or diagrams is also important to help to make it through the game. Check Nancy's PDA often. Nancy Drew will be taking notes, also.

Importance of Saving

Save the game before and after each puzzle and chapter. Do not overwrite chapters; coming back to these chapters may be needed if the player gets stuck. It is also a good idea to save the game after any part of the game that seems challenging. One of the game slots could also be saved as a temporary bookmark space. This way, a chapter wouldn't need to be overwritten.

Hints for Each Room

Examine each room carefully and pick up all loose objects. Ask all the questions you can until the person that is being questioned has nothing left to say. If there seems to be nothing left to do, go to bed, let time pass and begin a new day. Make sure that each direction that can be moved is checked out. Also make sure to check all parts of the room for items that may be clues.

Ask Questions

Ask questions of everyone, without giving away clues. Also, do not try to offend the people, or answers may not be forthcoming at all. The phone is also a great place to find out information that may help in solving the mystery. Nancy's friends will be helpful to talk with also. If the player is stuck, try retracing steps and re-interviewing people. Sometimes interview paths will open up at different points.
