Food Trivia Games

People love food and need it to survive, but how much do you really know about it? Each time you sit down to enjoy one of your favorite meals or snacks, you may never consider the history behind them. If you want to see the depth of your knowledge of food, try playing some food trivia games.

All About Food

Answer a series of multiple-choice food questions at zone.msn.com/en/celebtrivia/allaboutfood_default.htm. The first two rounds each have 10 questions, with round two offering slightly more difficult inquiries; choose your answer by left-clicking with your mouse. You only have five seconds to answer a question. If you choose the correct answer, your points are based on how long it took for you to answer the question.

As you advance, you also accumulate more points for each question if you build up a streak of correct answers. Questions load once you have answered a question (or time runs out) and clicked the "Click to continue" button.

When you arrive at the third and final round, the game turns into a quasi reverse "Jeopardy!" as the screen displays the four multiple-choice answers but not the question. Click on the up and down arrows to select how many points you want to wager on the final question. Should you have fewer than 1,000 points, you still can risk up to 1,000. Once you have made your wager, click "Place bet" and answer the final question (for which you have longer than five seconds to answer).

Sandwich IQ

Test your knowledge of sandwiches at delish.com. Each screen lists the ingredients of a sandwich, leaving you to choose the correct sandwich name from among four possibilities. Even if you're wrong, the game will display historical information about the correct sandwich name.

Food For Families Trivia

At help.feedingamerica.org, answer 50 food-related questions for a good cause. For each question you get right, Kraft Foods donates 5 lbs. of food to people in need.

Use your mouse to double-click your answer; the game lets you know whether you got it right or not. Don't fret if you get a question wrong, as you'll have more opportunities to answer the question correctly. Every time you answer a question correctly, a picture of a 5 lb. grocery bag appears on the left-hand side of the screen, indicating how many pounds of food you are saving with each correct answer.

Upon completing the game, enter a name and e-mail address at the bottom of the screen. To send your information, use your mouse and left-click "click to feed families."
