For those who are indoor inclined, you can stay in the recreation area and participate in bingo or read a book. If you would like to split the difference, sit by the pool instead of out on the lake.

Nature Coast Landings
Nature Coast Landings lies by Withlacoochee State Forest and Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Preserve. You can hike any of the many trails or bike through the trees. Like all the other locations, you can use the access to the water to fish or snorkel. Also consider taking in the local area amusement parks or float with the manatees, as this is the animal’s natural winter home.
