Calgary is home to several boutique hotels, each of which features contemporary furnishings and various amenities.
Chestermere is a small lakeside community in Alberta, Canada. It is approximately 11 miles east of Calgary. Visitors to Chestermere can check out one of the town's annual events such as its Winter Festival, Spring Festival, Seniors Tea Party, Water Festival, Canada Celebration or the Chestermere Country Fair. Additional area attractions include parks and lakes. The town is largely a bedroom community and does not have any hotels. Greenwood Inn and Suites is a 17-minute drive from Chestermere and is five and a half miles northeast of downtown Calgary. Each of the 210 guest rooms features luxurious bedding. The Blackfoot Inn is a south Calgary landmark located just a 22-minute drive from Chestermere and approximately four miles south of downtown Calgary. Each of the hotel's 200 rooms features "Dream Catchers" luxurious bedding, Neutrogena bath products and complimentary daily newspaper. This boutique hotel offers amenities such as 24-hour fitness room, outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor spa, in-room spa service, four on-site restaurants and sweeping views of the hotel's surroundings. As of January 2011, the hotel offers discounted limousine service and complimentary tickets for Thursday night performances at the Laugh Shop.
Hotels Arts
Hotel Arts offers slick style, contemporary artwork throughout the hotel and expansive banquet facilities, all just a 23-minute drive from Chestermere in the heart of Calgary's downtown area. Hotel Arts has 175 rooms, each of which features modern decor, spa-inspired bathroom amenities, pillow-top mattresses, luxurious bedding and flat-screen televisions. Enjoy a quick bite to eat or a nightcap at one of the two restaurants located inside of the hotel. Raw Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Saint Germain serves a bistro menu at lunch and during cocktail hour. Burn off calories in the hotel's fitness center or in the heated outdoor swimming pool.
Nuvo Hotel Suites
Nuvo Hotel Suites is also located in downtown Calgary. The hotel is situated within walking distance to many of the city's attractions and offers modern furnishings in each of its 32 guest rooms.
