Discount Oahu Activities

Finding discounts for activities on the island of Oahu is easier than you may think. The hunt for bargains can start the moment you land at Honolulu International Airport. Advertisements and racks of magazines full of coupons and offers can be found in baggage claim. If you happen to miss these boldly colored booklets, continue your search for discounts on the streets of Waikiki, at your hotel's concierge desk or even online. It is unlikely that you will be disappointed.

The Waikiki Trolley

Combine a scenic, inexpensive way to get to many of Oahu's most visited attractions with a ride on a reproduction of a San Francisco cable car. Painted bright red and sporting brass and wood trimmings, these open-air vehicles have been transporting people between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu since 1986. Routes have been expanded to include Sea Life Park in the east and a special shopping route.

Passes are available for one day, four days or seven days and allow for unlimited on and off privileges on all three routes. Guests going downtown take the Red Line for the Historic Honolulu Tour, shoppers heading to Ala Moana Mall take the Shopping Shuttle known as the Pink Line and those going to Sea Life Park and Diamond Head take the Green Line.

Waikiki Trolley offers "buy one day pass get the next day free" specials. Merchants and tour operators such as Hilo Hattie (clothing) and Sea Life Park (Hawaiian version of Sea World) offer discount coupons that can be found in the Waikiki Trolley map guide that comes with your trolley pass.
